On June 2, 2024, at KIBOGORA Polytechnic, the official opening ceremony of the new RASA branch was held at Kibogora Polytechnic. where the ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Rt. Rev. Francis KAREMERA Bishop of the EAR Diocese of Cyangungu, Rt. Rev. Methode RUKUNDO Bishop of the EAR Diocese of KARONGI, Rev. Prof. Viateur NDIKUMANA came to represent the leadership of Kibogora Polytechnic, Vincent MUNYANEZA, the coordinator of RASA at the national level, and various others.
The Bishop of the EAR Diocese of Cyangugu encouraged the Anglican students to put effort into the Bible study programme and continue to cooperate with all other believers in teaching and preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He also reminded the gathered students that what God wants from them is that they bring positive impacts to their places of study and to local churches because they are the power that the church has now and in the future.
